This device peels just about anything and it will do it in record time. Great product and a very good price.
I can now cut, peel and core an apple in literally seconds! I've had this for several months and have used it constantly. The blade dulls after a couple dozen apples, but my husband was able to sharpen it with a fine file in only a minute. I would recommend this to anyone that has a use for it- even it is is only once a month. I use it for pies and dehydrating mostly on apples, but you can take off the core part and still peel a giant stack of potatoes in minutes. Easily washed and the suction to the counter top is very sturdy.
How have I lived so long without this? Seriously, it's amazing. However, the instructions aren't very clear, so it took me a while to figure it out. It's probably just me being dense, but you have to pull the handle all the way over to the right and then insert the apple so it's in the inside of the contraption. I was trying to stick it at the end thinking that it would roll in, and it did nothing. Maybe that can help someone. :-) Anyway, it stays put on the counter very well and works so quickly--plus, my four-year-old loves eating her spiral apples.
